OK. I think I have just tried researching this so much that I am utterly confused now.

2019 Tundra Crewmax Sport with a SST 3/2" level kit. Currently have stock rims and tires (275/55/r20).

I am keeping the stock rims. I actually like them. My problem is tires. What do I go to for size???? First I was thinking 285/55's and then I was like maybe I could do 295/55's. Then the dealership parts guy said, "you should do 295/60's as that would give you 1.5" larger and only a half inch wider".

I don't want to trim, I don't want tires sticking outside of my wells. I am just trying to fill in the space from that level kit and get some decent tires under me. I intend to do Duratrac tires.

I appreciate the help. Love this site. I think I have just read too many posts and I am not a "car" guy so saying things like off-set just gets me even more confused.

if you don’t want them sticking out then do 275/65R20 (34” tall). Might have to remove little front mud flaps. If you don’t want to touch anything at all then do 275/60R20

    that’s what I’m currently running on a 3/1” level

a 295/55/20 or a 275/60/20 would look way too small on a 3" lift. a 295/60/20 is a good size for a 3" lift. however, if you don't want the tires sticking out past the fender, you should stick with a 275 or 285 width. maybe a 275/65/20 or a 285/60/20. and don't be afraid of some minor trimming.

285/65/20 34.6” tall 11.5” wide no trimming other than removal of front spats. Don’t stick out.
