I've been on this site for nearly 2 years .I have been blessed to become a salesman for what I believe to be the best car maker in the world! I have helped people and learned from many people on this site about many things concerning Toyotas. Some people have told me that I can't be a car salesman and be honest.I am here to tell you that I am going to proof them wrong! If anyone is looking for a new Toyota or a good used vehicle, I would be glad to help you.I will be at Fox Toyota in Clinton, Tennessee exit 122 off of I -75. If there ever was a dream job,It has to be selling TOYOTAS!!! ASK FOR WALTER,

An honest salesman is Great but that not who usually screws women as they try to get work done on their vehicles, I've seen that at many dealerships, not the ones who try to scam used car buyers into buying/accepting "add ons" they don't really want (should I list them?) but I do appreciate one good among many, many bad elements out there, no matter what watch your back.

    Walter,

That is awesome!!!! I will tell you my Fox Toyota stories, nothing but good but just a little feedback.

I am not a big dealer person, as I like to do the work myself. I enjoy it. But when both of our vehicles were under ToyotaCare I would take them up there. Never once have I ever been tried to sell one thing, or see any of the service writers come out and sell a single thing like the other dealers of all brands. They perform the maintenance that is asked, and fix what needs to be fixed. I know many people that take their vehicles there and have never had a problem. Had the front brakes done on our 17 4Runner there and it was priced very well. Same as independent shops in the area. Was only charged for what the parts cost, and the actual time the mechanic had in it. Brake pads were $80 or so, took mechanic about 45 minutes. It was about $160 where all other dealers just charge a flat $299 for brakes.

I am also wanting to replace the Bridgestone on my truck with Michelin's and will call there first.

Matter of fact, I will be calling them tomorrow. The seat back on our 4runner limited has popped off and broke a couple plastic retaining clips. Seat back is on the floor. Going to call and see if my wife can bring it by on Friday to put the seat back on. I lowered the seat to my setting, and when I lowered it there was 2 12 pack of drinks in the floor board behind the seat. It pushes up on the plastic and broke it off......

Now for sales........ It is more old school from what I can tell and not high pressured at all. I would venture to say Fox has a well above average customer retention. For sure seems to be an older customer base when I am in for service, haha! We tried buying our 17 4Runner Limited from there and my 19 Platinum. We went there first. They were not even in the same planet as everyone else. The 4Runner was $4700 more than the competition in West Knoxville, apples to apples, OTD to OTD. If they would have been within $1k I would have bought from them. I do not even want to throw out what I was quoted on a Tundra on here. Between the 2 vehicles we saved $9,300+ at another dealer. With all the low ball pricing I see on here I would get blasted if I posted the Tundra price. I could have got a Pro for same price as my Platinum. After the second time we felt like they did not take us seriously almost.... I would say sales will be made on reputation and not a low price high volume dealer. I get the hint they are old school in that regards. But I may be wrong.

Just some honest feedback. I hope you are there in a year when we upgrade to the Sequoiah. My wife is dying for one!!!

Just a photo of a Sequoia was sending the wife when I have been in there....

With all that being said, it is an upper tier legit dealer. Very reputable!

Also Walter, the parts and accessories are priced very well. I go up there and buy my filters, wiper blades, etc.... I usually buy 3 filters at a time for the Tundra and 4Runner. The parts department are also very nice and helpful.

    Congratulations and much success!

Working at a Toyota dealership beats the hell out of working at a junk yard.

Congrats. Two of my sons went into car sales. They stuck with it a few years before one moved to insurance and the other is on his way to becoming a police officer.

    Coming soon.
Hi, Walter, I'm in West Knox. Best of luck in your new position. Bought a 2019 CC TRD Sport last September. Neither Fox or Knoxville would negotiate but Kingsport did and got my business. Fox has a great reputation and a good back story. I'm sure I will wind up buying parts from them as I have done in the past for my previous rides.
