So, this was an issue I ran into after I installed LED brake lights. After they were installed, I noticed my radio and HVAC lights would blink with the turn signals. Tried flipping the bulbs around, but ultimately went back to incandescent bulbs. A month later, I ordered some 3157ck bulbs for the brakes to try again. Which, still didn't work. It wasn't until I installed a rear tailgate light bar that I noticed that my brake lights were flashing along with my turn signals. If the right signal was on, both brake lights flash, same if the left was on. Also, the HVAC and radio lights were only blinking if the headlights were off. Finally, it dawned on me, front turn signal. Because my truck didn't have an led DRL factory, it relied on the Amber DRL (turn signal). So, the front turn signal was illuminated as a DRL, even though I now had the LED DRL in the new headlights. Because the Amber bulb was getting power whenever the key was on, it was sending power to the brake lights for running lights. And when the turn signal was activated, it caused the lights to blink. And Because the led 3157's I installed in the brake lights required less power to illuminate, the dash lights were a lot brighter. Even with the incandescent bulbs, you could still see the HVAC lights blink slightly if you looked, and even the brake lights were slightly flashing. So, what is the answer, disable the Amber DRL by unplugging the wire under the dash in the following video.

I think this only applies if your truck was equipped with the Amber DRL.
