Hi all I am looking into replacing my factory seats with some after market ones. I am looking at sparco prp mastercraft or some thing similar. Not sure if I want reclining or fixed back. If you have replaced your and have any input what you like dont like it would be appreciated. Also what did you do about mounts.

Have not swapped seats in the Tundra, but I find putting racing seats in it a bit odd. Just my opinion.

I would look into seats that people put into Jeeps as they are more "truck" styled. If I had to pick some that I personally thing would look good in a truck and I have used are the Sparco Torino and the Recaro SRD.

Although, as mentioned, I think a racing seat in a Tundra does not make sense. Unless that is, you have a lowered Tundra. But climbing into a Tundra then trying to climb over a side bolster would be ridiculous.

Maybe..... but if you're "prerunning" your truck offroad then these types of seats will keep you planted

My tundra is not driven like most. It is more off road than on. And most of that is at high speeds thru the desert. Stock seats or jeep seats do not offer the support and comfort feel at high speeds thru deep woops. As you are sliding around in the seat. The truck will be going in for a cage and all that comes with high speeds thru the desert.

I appreciate your input 1fstrex yes climbing in and out over high side seats will be a pain and believe me that has been a concern. I my driving style needs more support. Than comfort getting in and out .

Race seats belong in a race truck, I dig it.
