    Hello Everyone,

I have been browsing the site for the past couple months for info on a tundra as, once my outback lease is up, I will be moving into one. The reason for the move into the Tundra is so that I can tow my skyline.

I have had multiple people tell me to get into a Tundra, and I know the "toyota reliability" is what I want. Before my recent deployment, I went into a dealership and test drove a 2020 Limited CM and knew that was the truck for me. I like the size, it has just the right amount of towing capabilities for what I need, and it doesn't have a ton of bells and whistles that the "big 3" offer.

My dream rig (stock) would be a 2020 Super White CM SR5 with the following options:
    • Convenience Package (color keyed rear bumper)
    • SR5 Upgrade (38 gallon tank etc. need all of it)
    • TRD Sport Plus Package (hood scoop, color keyed end caps, and mirrors)
    • Four Season Package
    • Spray-On Bed liner
I know I will likely have to get this exact truck ordered through Toyota, because I cannot find this combination anywhere (using buyatoyota.com -in WA and SoCal). What do you all suggest for me to do with this situation. I have some time before my lease comes up so I have plenty of time to learn as much as possible beforehand.

I hope everyone has a great week! Looking forward to hearing from you guys.

    Bryan

Welcome from deep in the heart of Dixie. Though I was born and raised in Bellevue Washington.

Good choice on truck (obviously, this a Tundra board after all). I didn't see you mention the factory tow package. Do they still offer that in 2020 and identify it as such? I've got it on my 2017 and it was line itemed on the window sticker.

    Welcome aboard sailor.

    Welcome from Washington.

When searching for my current truck, I Google searched all the major towns by typing Toyota of ___ and looked at their inventory. Takes time but you'll eventually find the truck you want if wanting to be as specific as possible. Good luck in your search!

Welcome from WA. Reference your truck search have you spoken to a dealership? Two years ago I purchased three new Toyotas, not one was located in the state of WA. My Tundra was inbound to Nevada from the plant in Texas so the dealership had it redirected to WA, my 2018 Tacoma was in Oregon and they had it shipped up and the wife's Rav4 Adventure was in Idaho I think. I used Toyota of Bellingham, they are an hour north of me but they have one of the lowest Tax rates.

I was talking with the guys at Toyota of Tacoma. They were super helpful when I wanted to get in for a test drive, even though I told them I was just browsing. It may have been because the skyline was in their parking lot, but either way, I was talking with them. But I will continue my search.

From what I have read, all the 2020s have the tow package already. Everytime I build a "new build" on edmunds or toyota's official site, there is no option for a tow package.

If I wasnt using a government computer, I would be able to get you pictures of the skyline. However, I do have a render of what it will look like with the livery on it...maybe that will satisfy you ;)
