Dropped the truck off today for it's 15k mile service since my ToyotaCare runs out tomorrow. So that's getting done plus the service advisor offered to do a complimentary oil change as well (which it needs due to time not mileage).

Mentioned to her that I wanted to have them swap my shocks for the TRD Off-Road ones that I got from a forum member here and she was all about having them do it. Offered to do it for 1 hour of labor plus the cost of the alignment (and she discounted that by $30) which I think is more than fair for a dealership to do the work.

Guess some dealerships will take whatever work they can get now but the experience was excellent!

That’s awesome , it’s nice to hear the good stories about dealerships too instead of all the negatives .

Yup everyone screams from the top of the mountain when they get crappy service but not when all goes good!

I have done business with my local Toyota dealer for about 20 years, they are consistently good, and they have corrected mistakes without drama... they continue to earn my business.

I have nothing bad to say about my local dealership from the sales people to the service department. Always outstanding service!
