I shorted the factory remote wire in my 2019 tundra. Could not figure why it wont come back on I replaced one 5amp fuse. And radio still won’t come on. Please if anyone knows. Much appreciated.

There's another fuse for accessories in the engine compartment fuse box. Forget what it's called but look in your owners booklet. That one usually blows when an interior fuse blows as well.

Disconnect your battery from negative when doing electrical work

Thanks for welcoming fellas. Thanks for you input Stig. I should of known better I put two amps in and talking to one of the kids set a wrench across the remote and top of the other amp and guess what happen. I checked all the fuses and still can’t figure it out.

I’m not sure about the factory radio, but my aftermarket pioneer has a fuse or two in the rear of the stereo itself, may wanna check there.

Just a thought did you meter the remote wire? Also what’s the setup? Are you using a harness? Dsr1? Is the remote wire jumped to both amps?

Well I figured it out. It was the fuse. Not the burnt one . But when I put the new one back in. With Those tiny fuses you almost have push it with something because I didn’t have it pushed all the way in. Thanks fellas. So now the Lil tundra has I phone interface front camera interface two amps after market speakers and 2-10s. It’s jamming pretty good. I think I am down with mods time to just drive it.
