Are Focals Plug and Play speakers compatible with the 3rd Gen JBL system?

    @james@tech12volts can definitely hook you up with whatever you need audio wise in your tundra. Many members including myself run his products and highly recommend him. Customer service is second to none.

    Everything I’ve read about these sets that Focal makes is that they are plug and play. There is a plug on the side of the speaker that you should be able to use the factory wiring. If a set wasn’t so dang expensive I would have already ordered these.

    I believe the stock JBLs speakers have a 2 ohm impedance. Those Focal are 4 Ohm. Would make your weak factory amp appear even weaker. That’s based on my elementary car audio education.

    Yeah the stock amp needs to go. I haven’t touched my audio yet in my truck but the first upgrade I tackle will be the stock amp under the seat. That thing sucks.
