Was fortunate enough to get an 06 with 150k. Original owner and pretty well taken care of 4wd. Not sure what I am gonna do to it but I have a couple ideas.

I agree with @neverstuck above; new headlights will make a huge difference. That's about all I can see from the photo that needs attention.

 

New headlightsx3. Aside from that it's a beautiful truck. I love that color. We'll help you spend some money in the 1st gen section.

looks about right. Still trying to figure out on what I want to do with suspension and tires. It's going to be a hunting/family rig. Not primary vehicle but will get used. I have until September to figure it out. Tires will need to replaced before then... Just not sure how aggressive I want to get. I'll have a quad in it or on a utility trailer. Want it to be as strong if not stronger than stock. I got this truck with intention of having for a while. Just want to do it right.

You should be able to do a vin check with the dealership to see if had the frame replaced in the recall. That’s how I checked mine, but you’ll probably know quickly just by looking underneath to see if there is any rust on it.

The headlights were the first upgrade I did with mine. Do you know if the timing belt has been replaced? If it hasn’t, that should the first thing you do. The standard is to replace them every 100k.
