Yes these look good and probably in line with pricing for low miles + clean + double cabs cost more than access cabs. I realize these aren’t the exact trucks you have in mind but if there were , I’d say if the gold one spent its life in SoCal, it’d be the winner because the dry climate may deter rust, but on the other hand... that gold is the truck equivalent of ‘birth control glasses’.

 

I actually have my eyes set one these 2 trucks as they are the only clean, low mileage trucks I have found within a 8 hour drive radius. Planning on calling the gold one and get a feel for the owner. Gotta make sure they're not some Armenian or Russian guy that buys and sells vehicles back (joking but serious at the same time).

@SDReppin619 come on in here to find locals for off-roading if you’re interested. I saw you and @itsrichierich are from SD and got all excited because I typically have to drive up to Riverside for play dates. It’d be fun having a couple more local buddies.

 

I'm always open to play dates, just gotta get a truck first. The 2 wheel whip won't make it far on dirt roads haha.

 

Thanks for the heads up on this thread, this suits me well. I go out exploring the deserts and local trails here in SD and head up to big bear once in a while to hit up those bigger trails in my land cruiser. My profile pic is actually on the top of blow sand hill out in Ocotillo Wells, which is one of my favorite spots to go.

@Sunnier is definitely one to talk to about 1st gens Tundras. Her's is WOW!

 

@Sunnier is our great fearless leader that will guide you if you are a newbie and will make sure you feel comfortable on the trail. Her driving skills are up with the best and once you see her first gen you will be amazed. What she can do in her 2wd 3rd gen is impressive also. She’s just a great person all around!

Was suppose to be sold 2 weeks ago but the guy was running into issues with the bank and COVID-19. But he finally got the check and will be for sure picking it up this weekend. Otherwise he's out on his $1,000 non-refundable deposit.

Ha, thanks; me too, you! And, yeah, I won’t likely live up to the hype... and if you’re not newer than new at off-roading, you won’t need anything from me. But I am friendly and welcoming, and I enjoy helping people feel at ease playing in dirt with their Tundras.

I use a two-step cheat. I create the post as @papasmurf then immediately select edit, and replace the letters ‘papasmurf’ between the mod coding numbers stuff with ‘savagefab’.

Others are better at keeping track of member numbers to write it the first time but... I’m lazy and this works, so....
