Morimoto Type-T LED Fog Lamps [complete housing]
They truly are plug and play. Hardest part is removing the lower liner & getting to the adj screw.
Took me about 15 minutes a side to install.

These are 5000K lamps but they seem a bluer compared to my 6200K Phillips LED Headlamp bulbs. Not bad, they are pretty close unless you stare at them for more than a few seconds. Light is nice and focused. I adjusted them so they light up right below my low beams.
They are definitely better than OEM's but my next mod looks like they will still be retrofits.

    iPhone 7+ pictures..

The Chrome cupholders by the shifter bugged me so I wrapped them in 3M CF wrap. This is my first time wrapping anything and it was difficult due to the curves on that piece. That piece just pops right off with a panel pry tool. I used a heat gun to make the material flexible so it can go around the edges. Came out alright after 2 tries, I want to redo it eventually just because I'm a perfectionist.

I've been wanting to paint my rear hubs since it looks ugly because I don't run the center caps on my wheels(personal preference).
I was going to go the route that @dcsleeper408 did with the grease cover but I haven't had much time recently. Went with a different route and just used plastidip since I don't have to remove the wheel to do it. We will see how long it lasts and I may have to do the grease cover after all lol. But at least you can't see the rust right now.

Thanks man. I have a question for you since you work at 4WP. I was planning on getting some Icon stage 1's. What do you think of that or what would you recommend? This truck see's 99% street so I just want a functional comfy suspension for the street that can handle some off-road if need be.

The Icons are plenty coilover for what you need. The ride is far greater than stock and won't get fatigued during offroad trips. There's plenty of room for adjusting for height increase too. Pair it with the rear shocks, some shackles and the Icon leaf pack and it'll really make you smile!

Also, make sure you do UCA's as well. It will help with caster/camber adjusting/alignment. Some people skip this and in the long run will bite you in the butt in the end. You sacrifice tire life plus other components by not doing so.

Thanks. That's my plan. Maybe BF2017 I'll buy some. I had a set of Donahoe Racing on my 04 Taco which was before it got branded Icons. And It rode like a dream!

Just ordered some Rokblokz mud flaps. Sorry @joonbug but I went with black and not like green. Wil do a review once I get them.

Check this out. Our Jeep GC ecodiesel MTE and this is with a full tank(24.5 Gal tank). Maybe one day Toyota will wake up and smell the coffee.

A lot of the Amazon reviews complain the wrap has very little adhesion. Did you notice this or have any problems?

    Great thread BTW!

Thanks.. Naw I didn't have any issues with adhesion. I wonder if they didn't prep the surface first or maybe they are not using a heat gun? Mine is from Amazon too.

Thanks I'll give it a try. It's a good look and I'm tired of the reflection/glare. Might do the black area around the shifter gate also.

I like your vids @BlueBottle. You have a wonderful build. Your video shows how quick the LED is compared to the slow yellow turn signal at the front. Big difference. With all the LED's on vehicles these days, wonder why Toyota took so long (example the 2018 model). Not sure if the 2018 model has LED's on all exterior and interior areas.

    Thanks @fuguchan

Now I need to convert the front signals to VLED's and I'm complete. That and retros.

There's only 1 reason toyota hasn't done leds to the tundra yet and that's to save $$$.

Great build. Also good to see another bay area tundra! I've been using proclips for some time. Had never seen that magnetic mount. Whish I had before I installed my pro clip last night.

Love the s2k. I'm currently building an'73 Morris minor with s2k swap.

How do you like the headlights still?

Check the first page. Has links to all my mods.

Thanks. There's a Bay Area folks thread. Make sure you drop by there. There's a bunch of us, we need to meetup one of these days. @dcsleeper408 hint hint.

Wow that Morris will be crazy with that drivetrain. Have a link to a build thread to it?
