Drip molding rooftop

I’m sitting in Carlson Toyota in Minnesota (where fuck all if we’re not supposed to get snow this weekend). The Tundra’s drip molding comes off during car washes. I’ve seen previous posts about this, but is it still a “known issue”?

Curious myself.

 

Mine came off in a car wash as well. I reattached it myself but added 7/8" wide 3M Black double sided tape the full length of the rail. It's not coming off now. It was just the driver side too. The passenger side rail is as solid as can be.
Gotta love the upper Midwest (not really). I'm in Wisconsin, 58 and sunny today, snow tonight and tomorrow.

 

I was in and out at the dealership and I'm happy to go up and see everyone there.

If it happens again, I'm likely to do the same with the tape idea.

Love Wisconsin. Don't get there nearly enough!

 

I noticed mine was gone one day. Dealer put on another. That was before warranty was gone.
