Little bugs after wash

Anyone ever had this happen? There are a bazillion little bugs on the shade side of my truck. I've noticed in the past that bugs seem to really like the smell of Merlins Magic Elixir, but i only used a little as a pre wash for the bugs on the grille. I used Chemical Guys CWS_107 Extreme Bodywash & Wax (the purple stuff) in a foam cannon.

I brushed some of them off, and tried to use a leaf blower, but those little bastards can hang on.

 

They’re trying to avoid Covid since you just washed your truck I guess they think it’s safe .

 

I’ve had this happen also. Some sealants or soap just attract them for some reason. Guessing it’s the sweet smell of some of them.

 

Never had that many, but I have had bees attracted to my truck after using Bead Maker.

 

I went outside yesterday to get the mail, they are still on there! jesus....they are relentless little bastards.
