Cheaper tow mirror

I have been looking at tow mirrors to replace the stock small ones I have on my 2019 tundra sport. I find that there are ones advertised as 2007-2017 compatable that are generaly under $200 a pair. But when I see ones listed as for a 2007 - 2019 they look exactly the same but priced out at $400-$500. what gives? I know that like self folding etc. will cost extra, but is this just a marketing ploy and they all fit alike, or is there really a differance? I have seen comments on here saying they are all the same and will fit. Please, if you have info on this reply.

 

Thanks for the info. Money is tight, that’s why the check to see if other years will fit, quite a difference in price.

 

Just wanted everyone to know, I took a chance and bought some aftermarket gm type Mirrors.they are advertised as 07-2017 for $167.00. My truck is a 2019, and I held my breath. They came today And in about an hour they were installed and I had a big smile cuz I just saved more than 200.00 and the mirrors worked perfect. The place I ordered from advertised that their mirrors didn’t vibrate, when I road tested it was rock solid. No problems on install. My truck originally did not have turn signals on the mirrors, but the ones on the new mirrors worked with no extra wiring! A good day all around.

 

Ok, it’s the next day andI just went 85 on the interstate and no vibration! Chill,man some things do workout .

No, but you can order the same mirror as I got with it built in.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/373024798877 The place I got mine has this one with bsm I know it will fit your 2019 but it’s advertised as for a 02-17 mine is a 2019 also and it fit perfect.

 

Also guys, the only problem with install was the screw posts on the mirror were long and found a DEEP 10mm socket was necessary.

 

Did you get yours off of eBay? I didn't see a reference to not vibrating in the ad. Thanks!

Just saw your question Ted, yes, got mine on EBay, but I can’t now find the listing. They maybe ran out or didn’t list it again. Will let you know if I find it.
