I finished the lights up today. I added stand alone dot signals and a 10” red underglow led strip signal per side. Also, I tied in and mounted the resistors. I’ll take some lit pics tonight for y’all. Despite the rough finish on the light housings, I’m happy as I’m sure the Quicksand bedliner will hide the imperfections. I will leave them primed until I do the whole body, for perfect color matching.

Well here’s the end setup. This allows me to have a spare universal reverse and taillight incase for some reason one breaks. These are also the same taillights in our horse trailer, so that’s handy. Once the light housings are color matched should look pretty neat imo :)Kind of an exo-taillight haha.

I replaced my Vision Warriors with Method Double Standards. The Visions started peeling after less than two years.

I finally took the time to remove the leaky window in my Leer canopy and sort it out.

    2 Things

#1. The connection between the window frame and the fiberglass doesn't use any adhesive or sealer. It's just some narrow rubber weatherstripping that gets dirty and eventually leaks.

#2 There was a short piece of thick wire (like part of a metal coat hanger) jammed through the seal right under the window tilt mechanism. Looks like someone tried to break in to it at some point.

I cleaned the seal, window frame and fiberglass. Then I added a second row of weatherstripping on the window just outside of the frame. The glass has a black backing there which means it's totally hidden so I figured I'd give it a shot.

After buttoning everything back up I slowly dumped about 3 gallons of water right into the top of window seal and no leaks!

Found it on Ebay for $80. Used the same mirror tap from my previous Tundra. Pretty happy with how discreet this setup is.

I haven't really done any "cool" stuff with my 2002.

I am unsure if you guys would be interested since its not a 2nd gen. I haven't poked around on this thread long enough to have a good feel for the crowd.

I need to heavily update my build page.

Everything I've done has been on the 1st gen version of this thread, and I have just been quoting into my thread. I wished I had started one as soon as I got here. Live, and learn.

Oh, no kidding. I saw all them likes. Lol

Spread the wealth. Maybe on an upcoming "loon-gie" day I will peruse this one.

For now off to bed with me, and to the lake tomorrow. Last time we caught 8 catfish. All in the 5-6 pound range. Perfect filet fish.

    Yum.:D:oldglory:

Won't fit in the spare location, or just wanted easier access since you are rotating?
