Just picked up some 275/70/18 all around. Would be great if I can have a spare that matches.

Will a 275/70/18 "fit" in the factory location of the spare tire?

Pictures if anyone has done so.

    thanks

That’s only 33.2”. Itll fit easily. Some people put 35s. Stock tire is about 32”, so it’s an extra 1/2” per side of a round tire.

So 285/70R18s should fit fine as well I assume, as thats the size I'm most likely going with

That is a 34. You will need to do something about the brackets under there. I relocated mine forward, other people just cut them off.

I'm glad that you took pictures - I did the same thing and forgot to take pictures (and have been to lazy to drop the tire just to take a pict ;)).

I did the same mod that @EDDO did and I have my 35x12.5 under the bed. Before this I had an MT tire size 275x70 under the bed - it fit fine with no modifications.

285/75/r18 here in stock location. Tire shop massaged the brackets with a sledge hammer though.

That size should fit with no mods or bracket removal. I squeezed in a 285/75/17 BFG MT, which is around 33.8” in diameter. 285/70/18 is roughly the same size around 33.7” in diameter.
