Has anyone vinyl wrapped their hood bulge and grill? I am thinking about buying some for my Tacoma as the paint on my hood is fading....so before I spend 555 bucks on a new color matched grill and bulge for the Tundra has anyone done this successfully?

    Too many…scratch that…not done yet.
I wrapped my hood bulge along with the end caps, mirrors and handles almost 2 years ago, using Oracal, 937RA.
    Still looks good imo.

If memory serves, I took out the black screen piece. I used one piece of vinyl for the bulge. The Oracal lays very well and responds well to heat. So long as it is. It overstretched when laying it down, it will have enough flex to lay into the open space of the bulge opening.

I went the vinyl route. Save the extra cash for other mods. Also, fun to learn something new. The color of my vehicle is white so find a wrap to match was not that bad. I read some where MGM was hard to match.
