    Hello All,

I installed led strips below my running boards for courtesy lights. My plan was to use an add a fuse to the dome light circuit to power the lights. They get power but will not go off when the car is locked or started. Can someone help me with this issue? Maybe the fuse is getting constant power because the dome light switch is after it? If that is the reason, is it just best to wire them to the footwell light wires instead? I watched videos on that and i have seen others on here doing it but i would still like to have that light functioning as well. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Check your switch. It's a 3 way where you can keep your interior lights on, off, or only on when you open the door etc
