What’s the usual lift y’all put on the trucks? And if y’all upgrade the suspension what do y’all go with

Yes, you've got to mention what you want to do with your truck and what your budget is. There are MANY different options.

For the front, the ones I’m familiar with are:

    Spacer lift
    Coilover lift
    Drop-down bracket lift
    Long travel suspension
    Solid axle swap
    Spindle lift (2wd only)

My guess is that most folks go with a spacer or coilover lift, both of which provide .5” to 3” of front lift.

    For the rear:

    Blocks
    Shackles
    Add-a-leaf
    Leaf packs
Or a combo of one or more of the above

For rear lift, you’ll likely need longer shocks. Might also need extended brake lines if you go too high, but shouldn’t be necessary with a very modest lift.

My guess is that most folks go with a block or extended shackles for rear lift. For the rear, no lift is needed to fit 35’s, but most go with 1” or 2” of lift to compensate for a front lift so the truck doesn’t sit nose high.

I'll make it easy and give you a starting point, A 6 inch lift with 35 inch tires and new wheels fully installed will run approx 5K.. You can go up or down from there..Good luck with whatever you choose, I'm sure it will turn out good.

Never let your wants dictate you financially.
