Disable Engine Shut Off for Remote Start...Key Fob?

    I recently bought a new 2020 Tundra TRD Pro and was excited to hear that it came with a remote start, but later found out that since the truck has a key fob, the truck shuts off when the door is opened or even when the unlock button is pressed. Does anyone know a logical way to correct this problem. I understand its a safety function by Toyota but SHIT, there has to be a bypass?? Who has the answer?

    It's not possible. Only way around is to use a non OEM remote start.

    No way to bypass the oem remote start. Have to remove and go aftermarket. No way around it. Sorry you paid for a worthless feature.

    Honestly I didnt know the Pro had remote start until I YouTube it, my sales man didnt have a clue either.
