2016 Toyota tundra

I ordered a dasaiti 10.2 head unit for my truck. Dasaiti says the canbus adapter is out of stock. Any reason I can't use one from crutchfield.com?
Looking at a crux adapter, it appears to retain steering control and factory backup camera.
Can anyone confirm? Thanks
