Even if dealer didn't know what that truck was, apparently neither did the person who traded it in. If they accepted 26k for the truck, they either didn't know what they had or really wanted to get rid of the truck for some reason. I'd look it's over real close. Good luck

Caveat emptor. I’d have a mechanic look it over

Or the person trading in didn't care and was doing anything to get out from under it.....

Replaced transmission, engine, etc..... and they want to dump it.

Or the original owners really are clueless since they traded it for a Ram/Jeep going by where it is at.

Sounds like the OP is getting a good deal if everything checks out!

"corporate" That's something you should be concerned about. "corporate" means it was a company work truck and whoever was driving it wasn't driving it as if they owned it, if you know what I mean and they never do. That's similar to buying a vehicle from a car rental company. I would definitly have a good reputable mechanic you can trust check it out. Money you spend there could save you much more down the road.

Congratulations on your new baby. If it looks good, drives good and accident free and mechanically checks out than it really doesn't matter if it was under company or not. I seen one owner truck that was in lot worst shape as well. Enjoy.

Thank you! everything checked out and in reality maybe I would be more nervous if it was anything other than a toyota.

Around here what you picked that up for would be a middle road avg price I think sitting on the yota lot here used, tho here in the oilfield we have some weird pricing when it comes to vehicles it seems like. It's a nice pickup nevertheless! In my area you did just fine with it.
