17s with a lift??

    Have a question I’ve been trying to research and not able to find the answers....

    Pulled the trigger on some 17x8.5 with a 0 offset and have 35x12.5 Toto RTs and now thinking this thing needs to have more stance.

    Was looking at 4-6” lifts but everything is saying you need 18s for spindle clearance. I have some 1.25 spacers from the previous set up with TSS wheels so the magic question is......

    Can I run the 17s with the spacers and clear the spindles? And if so would 4” or 6” be better with the stress on the suspension due to the spacers (FYI spacers are spidertrax)?
