Yeah I just now got into off roading a little. All my friends have Jeeps. The Tundra does pretty good but too big for a lot of the trails the Jeeps do in my current setup. If I had armor (next mods) I could hang a lot longer on some stuff. If I had known how addicting off roading was going to he I would have gone Tacoma or 4runner probably. Wife wanted something big to travel in though. But the Tundra impressed me for how little it is modified. Airing down and ATRAC really opened my eyes. Ended up towing a Jeep that hydrolocked all the way back on the last trail up some steep terrain. Everyone was impressed that I towed it all the way back on the trail.

Nitto Ridge Grapplers, I love them. Quiet and very aggressive pattern. They are great rain tires

It's hard to say Brad, it's not my daily driver. They should last me longer than normal. They are wearing good and they ride good.

Yes, it's done all the time. Plenty of TRD Pros (2 inch front lift) running 18x9 Method NV, Standard, and Roost with 295/70/18. These are +25 and +18. Some only need mudflaps removed, but it's more likely that you'll need to heat some plastic.

Nice wheels. I was going to choose either the Fuel Shok or Fuel Vector in anthracite and ended up getting the Vectors last week. Really like the color too. Lift and larger tires will change the look for sure.

I wish. My truck will be paid off by the fall and done paying for private school at the same time. Practically like getting a second income so may be able to swing something in a year or so. I always wanted an FJ Cruiser.

More on topic. I like seeing the different wheel colors on Silver Sky. Everyone around me does black on silver. I also like blue Tundras and 4runners with non black wheels because you don't see many.

I believe I have decided on Ridge grapplers in 285/70/18. They weigh the same amount as my current BFG 275/70/18. I’m blacking out my rear bumper to match the front. I’m not going to lift higher for a while. My 6112/5160 on have 30,000 on them.
I appreciate all of the input and comments

Sounds like a solid plan. I wouldn't switch out your suspension either. It's a sweet setup. The bigger tires will really set it off. I need to do the same. Probably milk the KO2s for another year at least though while I mod other stuff.

Fj cruisers are really nice when fixed up, but there really is no substitute for a jeep brother!!! Now a 4 runner fixed up is also pretty sick. I'm a all black no crome guy and I love black wheels
