    Hi all, I’ve got A 2016 platinum. Hitch was on truck when I got it. I am looking in the manual for hitch system rating for renting a u-haul enclosed trailer. Am I considered to have the towing package if I have the factory trailer brake? I think I’m rated for 9100 lbs but not 100% sure. Any help is appreciated!

    I recently rented a small enclosed trailer and they asked me what I was pulling it with and entered the year/make/model of my truck. When I asked him about it the employee said they verify the towing capacity and braking ability of the specific truck before releasing the trailer. Thought it was interesting since it’s been many years ago since going to u-haul. My point is it might help you if your planing to rent from u-haul to either stop by or call.
