OME vs Dobinsons Springs on FGT

    So I asked the guys at 1stgenoffroad this question and this was their reply....I thought folks here might find this useful:

    What is your take on OME vs Dobinson's springs since you sell both?

    1stGenOffroad:

    Depends on what you want. If you're looking for 3", only option is OME. The OME shock is longer and Dobinsons springs don't fit on OME shocks. Dobinsons C59-302 is almost the same as OME 2885. Both have 11 turns, both are the same height. both will give you about 2.25-2.5". The 2885 spring has a spring rate of 590 lbs/in. Dobinsons C59-302 has a spring rate of 586 lbs/in. So possibly not as stiff. Dobinsons comes in cool colors.

    There is no color cooler than the one used by OME.

    They are both good, get whichever is easier on the wallet. Dobinson does offer 3" coil C59-578 suggested shock is GS59-710.
