Yeah, I'm still on base tune on my 4x2. It was a little quirky for the first month or so (I put close to 2000 miles/month on the truck). I installed the standard system 12" BAMufflers around the same time as flashing the base tune, and ever since the ECU & TCU figured me out, everything has been really good. I'm getting about 1 MPG better than the stock muffler/stock tune. Can't imagine it being much better with the updates, but I'm sure it will be, even if not very noticeable. I wait patiently, since I'm pretty far down the list at #5388.

considering how many tacos out there get 13-17, the tundra isn’t nearly as bad in real world numbers. I’m averaging 14-15 with mine. Some are getting 10-12 but you have so much more space and power.

I guess they've come a long ways. The best I got with my 2012 taco was 17 avg.

I can't get by without my tundra now!

Hmm, I guess that wasn't exactly the picture I meant to portray. Maybe better had I said, "smooth..... or like a kick in the butt, depending...."

But then that sounds so comparatively mundane....

I usually averaged 17-19 mpg in my 2005 Tacoma

18 in my 2016 auto (ranged from 13-22. It was bipolar af).

Just shy of 20 mpg in my 18 manual. Highway is usually 20-24 mpg during the summer

My tundra is 14.5 With the sail on top. Will be adding a wind deflector at some point to see if that makes any difference.

Uploaded the newest revised tune, with all the features, including Gear ratio & tire size correction. I'm extremely happy with this new revision, no more goofy shifting, just super smooth, and the throttle response is much improved Vs. the base tune. The Harrop SC is singing now

Hang in there, folks, it's worth the wait

I too have shifting that seems off a little, hangs on to 2nd too long it seems. Waiting for revision file for 4821. Can't wait to see if mine smooths out too

Mine would only hang in 3rd, but only on an incline, probably attributed to my 35s & 4.88 gears. After I loaded this new tune, with the tire/gear correction, the trans shifts are now snappy & smooth, no gear-hang at all.

vF tuner is coming out in the next few days. I’d assume thats probably the current priority.

He also noted he’s got about 3x the normal ticket volume to sort through.. so things are gonna take longer.

It’s supposed to be available by may 1st. Tundra support is also supposed to be a part of it at some point.

Development will definitely speed up once he isnt spending all his time writing tacoma tunes.

2018 apparently is my problem with the extras not working yet, plus I slowed things down by putting Elockers in the front and back and going to 5.29’s in the middle of the tune. There was a lul point so I took advantage of it

Yes, but only 2018 ECUs are supported right now.

Trying my best right now to get to everyone. I think since so many people are at home they are emailing us all day. We have 3-4x as much inquiries as normal right now.
