My project. Not a real 3rd Gen, but kind of?

I've been a 4runner guy for 20 years. Wanted something bigger and cushier but hated the look of the Sequoia. Problem solved. Bought a wrecked 2012 and a 2017 Tundra front cut. A little pulling and stretching and I'm almost there.... My guy will get the black hood bulge and bumper on today and hopefully get it aligned and ready to go by Fri. Then I'll need to figure out the light connections and a few other details. More to follow!!!

Definitely looking good. Imagine if Toyota did this for them in the first place.

Damn. Though I love the look, I have awful luck with used vehicles, so I could never do this. Especially not with a wreck. Still can't wait to see it all finished up.

or you could buy a topper on your tundy and roll down the back window? Insta-sequoia with a larger "back row". And you don't even have to shuttle your kids friends in it cause there's no 3rd row seats! Bonus.

Edit: not to say your project doesn't look cool. it does...

If Toyota would actually update the sequoia to look like this I would by one, but cant see paying what they want for a second gen suv that never got updated

Nice work! Every time I see one of these I think that's the way the sequoia should have come from the factory.

Been wanting to do this to my Sequoia but I cant get over how the Sequoia lines dont mesh with the Tundra panel lines. It killed the idea for me.

Fender flares to cover the body lines? Just a thought.

Or, convert to the newer headlights on the current Sequoia, and it should work.

I see. Doesn't have the same blocky look in the back. that was why I though flares might work to unify the front and rear. I'd have to see flares on one that was modified to know for sure.
