    A pleasant good evening !

    I need your kind advise/guidance.

I would like to have my Beast Raised/Lifted maybe a couple of inches but have some hesitations:

    a. Do you prefer to have it done at DealerShip or maybe people/shop who really does it ?
    b. What would be a reasonable cost for front and back
    c. Will it affect my warranty ?
    d. I read that it is recommended that no higher than 3" but i see a lot of Tundras that have really high ?

i thank you in advance and i value your time, comments, inputs and recommendations.

    Cheers!

I hope you and your loved ones are safe and well during this Pandemic.

    Respectfully,

    JoeL \m/

    1. A shop as dealerships don't normally install aftermarket lifts and if they do its going to be way overpriced.

    2. Reasonable cost.. depends on your needs and how much money you have laying around. Thats a question you have to do alot of research on. My lift started under 3k then as time has gone on I'm over 5k easy because I keep adding and upgrading. That said you can get cheap leveling kits for 500 ish but then some people spend well over 10 for long travel

    3. Depends on what lift you buy. I personally have a 7" bds and no it does not void warranty. No bds lifts do and if your dealer try to say it does they have a team of lawyers that will fight for you for no cost as long as you purchased the lift from them

    4. Some say for offroading 3" is a good number but there are members(well 1 im thinking of) here that are higher than that running 40s with exo cages on half there rig and wheel harder than most. So at the end of the day its what you want not what someone else wants cuz it's your truck

Hi Joel & thanks for the well wishes.

So the answers to what you wanna know depend on variables: what are you gonna do with your truck? How much lift do you want? (you might add how big of a tire do you want to run?). Who do you have your warranty through?

    Let us know.

@Getmeacoors -> Well noted and thank you for your inputs. Well appreciated.

    @texasrho83 -> Kindly see below.

what are you gonna do with your truck? Aesthetics/Style.. not really on to off-roading but i normally pull a trailer with 2 Harleys on it and another Harley on the Bed.. my good friends and I love to go Riding out of state.

How much lift do you want? (you might add how big of a tire do you want to run?). - maybe 4 or 5 inches .. not sure if i want to change my tires.. i happy with mine but i am not sure if it will look right if i have it lifted with the same tires ?

Who do you have your warranty through? Bought the Warranty from Dealership ( Fred Haas Toyota -- Spring, TX )

I read the title of this thread and thought you were going to raise your truck 3 feet. What a difference punctuation can make!

The ol' 3/1 lift is very popular. I believe 3 inches is the number (supposedly) that's considered the maximum "reasonable" lift. Like the most you would want to lift if you still wanted to Tow regularly, and get semi good gas mileage for these trucks. A common belief is over 3" is where you start having problems such as prematurely worn suspension parts. A Lot of guys run 6" lifts and love them but not too practical in my book. Dealer is a no go. Find a reputable shop that works on trucks as a specialty. I say you could spend anywhere from 600 to 1400 for a high quality budget set of shocks or coilovers, around 2-3 hundred bucks for A spacer lift with blocks. You can spend 10,000 on suspension if you wanted to but it just depends what you want. If the dealership can prove that the lift caused the failure then yes it will void that warranty. Even if it didn't, I would be prepared to argue your case to Toyota corporate.

Doesnt seem like you need much height...especially since you tow over a distance. I'd stick with a 3/1 lift but I really dont think you should do spacers. You'll sacrifice ride quality and since you tow you need the full range of your spring tension. You mentioned you want to keep your tires so a "leveling" kit/lift is ideal since you dont want to be sky high but look like you skipped leg day.

I am just up the road from you. I've used Fred Haas for warranty work on our Sequoia and they're good ppl. I do not have a Toyota warranty on either of my Toyotas yet I've done thousands in warranty work done to my Tundra and it is lifted well beyond the "safe" 3 inches. Toyota warranties all depend on the dealership who is doing the work - I have someone I now use who is well versed in Toyota and works with warranty companies. I also paid more for a warranty that allows me to lift my vehicle and run 35" tires.

I've used the guys in Tomball and they did quick and excellent work. There are also tons of DIY for the easy to install leveling kits
