Him and PHM would have a great time together!
If you look thru his build page, it’s very impressive

I think he only reccomends the bigger ones for a super charger application or other big power mods.

    That makes sense. Thanks guys.

I've not been able to connect with him yet. He's on PST. I'm going to call him back this afternoon. I'm going to ask him about cats vs no cats, midpipes, and what gaskets come with his long tube headers. His website is a little wonky right now. I think something might be wrong with the pricing. As I try to play with options the pricing does the opposite of what it says it should cost. I'm starting to wonder if this is more than I want to spend. The exhaust alone could be $1,600 or more. I really just want long tubes.

Just got off the phone with Keith. Super nice and helpful guy. Long tubes plus exhaust is $3,200 and I would have to mail him my cats. I'd love to do it but it's hard to justify spending that much money on my 18 year old truck. I'm sure it would be awesome though. I'm gonna have to think about this.

Holy shit. That’s a lot of coin.

Looks like I’ll be ordering long tubes from him and just doing my own exhaust from there back. I can’t justify 3200 for a truck that I bought for 300 bucks

Ewwwww Gary!!! So that was using your cats, meow!
was that a full race exhaust, a budget dump or a full replacement exhaust?
I had also seen Karma post a part number that was cheaper than the other long tubes listed, but required a AIP bypass, which is almost the cost of the difference........
    Kinda bummed now:(

Yeah. I was a bit shocked honestly.

I'm not sure that he offers "race" exhaust anymore. I asked him about that because I saw both on his website but it's outdated. So don't go by that. Basically, it was long tubes, mid pipes and everything behind that except for the cats which he would put in place once I mailed them. I think I'm going to have to pass on this project and move on to something else for now.

I bet his 03 Tundra is a lot of fun though. It's turbo'd with long tubes and whatever awesome exhaust he has on it. Plus I'm sure it has a bunch of other stuff done to it.

Do you guys think I could get by running a Brute Force front bumper with 650lb coils? I think Wumbo truck was doing the same with his Coastal bumper.

I'm leaning towards the low pro hoop.

They should be fine. My OME springs are 660lb and I have the Coastal bumper and I feel I don't have enough weight up front to utilize the springs the way I thought it would. I do need to add the winch and eventually skid plates and I am HOPING this will bring the front down at least .5".

Have you considered selling the winch that didn't fit in there? I'm going to need one if I buy this bumper.

Who's got Winch suggestions around $500?
    8k, 10k, 12k?

I've been looking at other threads but it's people talking about the 2nd gens which are heavier.

Look at smitty built, the x2o version in synthetic line. I feel like it was in the 5-600$ range when we bought one for the Runner. Also look into snatch blocks and mechanical advantage. Gear ratios work the same on winches as they do with tires. Most people winch with 4+ wraps on the spool, they are overloading and over stressing their winch and not using it to its full potential. One wrap is where you get MAX pull power. I’ve read into guys running shorter main ropes, and having multiple other different length ropes in their recover bags. Happy wenching!!

Since my zeon 12 didn't fit I'm going to go with vr10 gen 2 as it's the only winch big enough I could find that would guarantee fit my bumper with the solenoid removed.

this has me curious, ive never seen the center switches used in toyotas except camrys for the clock controls. the 4runner switch lists display on and off. also i have no clue what that guy found the switch out of to get arrows there. but i may delve into this just because if it'll work to shut off the display that could be nice for when im at the drive in listening to the movies!

Didn't he just take the left side arrows & spin it around?
Saab had the dashboard display shut off for years. A kill switch on the dash face. The base version kills everything. The fancy version kills everything but the speedo up to 85mph. If you go over 85 the rest of the speedo lights up. Get that going in the Tundra & even I'll be impressed.

Yesterday I braised my condenser and evap in yesterday(I even flowed with nitro) and put 250# in her to set over night.......I lost 5# or so. I soap bubbled all my joints, nothing. These gauges get a lot of use so I knew the seals were probably done, sure enough the high side was pretty toast! I’ll put some fresh juice in the vac pump and do a TRIPPLE evac and finish the wiring and insulation today:)

I might, I was planning to put the zeon in my lx470 but I'd consider selling. It's not a $500 winch though :)
