    Finally.....

My Tundra has been unwashed for months with rain, road trips and other priorities. The front wheels were brown with brake dust overall the truck was filthy top to bottom (no before pics it was too painful). I just went for it, to get it behind me.

I always keep the interior very clean so my efforts were focused on the exterior.
Broke it up over 2 days since I wasn't driving it.
Day 1: Wheels, wheel wells, undercarriage, engine bay, bed and tonneau cover
Day 2: Wash, clay, paint correction, wax, dress plastic/rubber, glass & rain-x

I figured there had to be nicks and scratches hiding under all that grime. I was shocked, nothing, truck cleaned up like new after a TON of elbow grease.

Forecast says rain this weekend....so rinse and repeat!!

Yota LED's, I wouldn't recommend them though, they use cheap materials for a kit that costs $119

    Some stuff
whew. was hoping it wasn't a saleen. i had one, based on a '96 gt. a supercharger and a 3.55 rear end were the upgrades. biggest piece of crap i'd ever driven. had to fix so much stuff right out of the gate and i bought it new, less than 100 miles. it sounded awesome and looked good though. steve autographed the car too so, that was worth what? 1? maybe 2 ponies?

Pre-wash wheel wells and undercarriage, then full strength Simple Green. I let the Simple Green sit for 10 min to break down grease/grime, then scrub extra dirty areas with an assortment of brushes followed by a thorough pressure wash. I then dress with The Chemical Guys Bare-Bones product, some people stop here, I wipe down all components, frame, and suspension parts several times so it’s not greasy after applying dressing (looks wet but it’s a nice dry sheen). The next couple of washes any dirt or grim just rinses right off. Re-apply dressing as needed.

Looks amazing, I pressure washed mine yesterday for the first time, and I have to say I was fairly hesitant that it might damage the paint...

If you are pressure washing, I’d say a rule of thumb would be to keep your distance or turn the PSI down. I go light on the paint and turn up pressure for wheel/undercarriage washing.
