We won't know for certain unless he starts complaining about millennials and the media...

Nah, I say that in good fun. I suspect that every older generation has complained about the younger ones since the begging of history. I'm sure I'll do the same thing one day. He just happens to be someone that does it at least once a week. :boink:

Ahhh so satisfying. I hate the salt. I miss Arizona’s Winters....

Wire wheeled, rust converted, and painted. Also buffed the Headlights

Like I said earlier, no reason to compare me to that greatness. I'm just here trying to do right, keep busy, and keeping busy helps keep my mind in straights, and on the mend.

Keeps me from going off in the deep end again.

I used to complain about millenials, then learned I'm right inside of their birth range, so now I complain about millenials and lie about my age.

Please, my hands are too scarred. I carry the weight, and marks of past mistakes. Modeling is not in my future. Edit: also my truck is not a museum quality. Just a daily driver I use for everything. 20200417_162534.jpg 20200417_162545.jpg 20200417_162601.jpg 20200417_162621.jpg

@Darkness which group do you think I fall into?

Or anyone for that matter. Where do you think I land on the provided groups?

Preping new steering wheel. Swapped the control boards so I can have green backlight instead of amber, installed a steering damper (I had it, it’s suppose to help, why not) and cleaned it all up.

Installed.. eventually it'll get new leather and painted the same as the rest of the interior... but for now its close enough

Oh and i have to find a black airbag or airbag cover now..
[IMG] [IMG] got to get the other side controls too. but that'll require so soldering to match the LEDS. i may eventually decide to solder in some white LEDS. but as of now the clock is green and the mirror is green so this green doesnt bother me when compared to the white lights on the dash (cluster will get done soonish)

I had to run 3 wires from the bottom of the center of the dash to the radio. The truck already had the correct spiral cable and the dash itself was wired.

Hang on; maybe I missed something but do the radio controls (on the wheel) light up for all of us? I may be mis-remembering but I don't think mine light up

Never knew mine lit up until someone brought up adding steering controls to right side. Had to have a very dark environment but mine indeed light up a faint amber. It's on back burner but eventually wish to change color similar to Dan's and also find/add right side phone controls since I'm now a kewl baby boomer on the block with new HU

just verified mine do light up but it’s really faint. I’ll look again this evening; maybe it’s just right at night??? I can’t stand bright dash lights and stuff when night driving anyway.
    Shocked I never noticed...

The controls I had originally were from a sequoia. I’m not sure if tundras had it or not.. pretty sure they did
