Does the yellow sticker payload limit account for any existing load, such as driver, passenger, fuel? My sticker says 1300#, but difference between gross and curb weights is 1600$.

Yes. 300 lbs for driver and pass, plus 70 lbs for hitch.

Look up SAE J2807 tow standards.

I also have it stickied in this section.

So, the 1300# is net? Makes me feel better! Thanks for help! Just stepped up to bigger TT and have concluded I should have done more homework. Estimating passenger payload at 400#, bed payload light - maybe 200#, loaded TT at 7200# with hitch load at 900#. Pretty much maxes me out.

    You probably are over.

That’s one heavy hitch weight. What camper model and brand?

Camper is Grand Design Imagine 2800bh. Actual dry weight is 6662#, dry hitch weight is 682#. My est of hitch weight includes hitch at 70# and my passenger payload est includes the assumed 300# in the SAE rating. By my calc I was thinking I’m close but slightly under the loaded GVWR of 7100#. Curb weight is 5470#. Where’s my error?
