    Not many yet, mostly stock.
Same here on your first paragraph. No arguments on income with the wife here.
An asset is a asset. The Tundra, happens to fall in that category.

I love mods, they allow you to tweak your truck and it becomes unique in its own way.
    Mods so far.
Jowellett Performance oil filter housing / Fomoto valve drain.
    SDSQ ABS guards.
    Rydenair Flexible antenna 13 inch.
    Being shipped :fingerscrossed:
    Drivers side grab handle
Interior console / door pad kit.
Ive owned my truck for almost a month.

I tried and was successful until I started reading the "what have you done to your 3rd gen" thread.

I quickly failed in a flurry of gotta have it. My mods are cosmetic...for now.

My wife used to give me a lot of crap for adding stuff to my truck. So I asked her...

    - how many pairs of shoes
    - how much jewelry
    - how many purses/handbags

she has that she never wears or uses.

I no longer have to justify myself that much, long as other bills are paid ahead of time (and they are). :)

Best advice there is by far. When I bought mine in August 2019 I told my wife it was exactly what I wanted and I was done modding trucks. 8 months later on this site I want sooooo many things. Still want the “stock” look, just a modified stock ;)

Mine's stock and I'll keep it that way. I drive a lot of miles and want my vehicles to last. I usually swap them out when they hit 250K-300K miles. Mods create an increased risk of component failure and in most cases lower the value of the vehicle when it comes time to sell/trade.

I plan on keeping mine for at least 20 years or more , so other than a few things mine will be stock until something is scratched worn out or broken then it will get upgrades as needed , I feel like I want to get the use out of the stock parts that I’m currently paying for , then mod as I go , aside from LineX bed liner , factor installed side step and tonneau cover , I’m going to do the electronic locking tail gate and I’m making my own bed lighting kit .

I installed GoRhino side steps to prevent door dings and weathertech mats to catch snow from winter boots, but I expect aside from a possible colour-matched fiberglass canopy, that's it for mods.

The dealership installed a trifold bed cover (they said it was rated for the same weight load as a roll n lock cover I originally planned to buy, but that was BS), Toyota door sill protectors (one already loosened up and I had to reinstall it), electric tailgate lock and had a line-x bedliner sprayed. I told the dealer to peel their logo off the back, so that was one less mod!

There was a time when I did a lot of modification work on older vehicles and I believe I've scratched the itch, haha. I want to focus on using the new truck to travel to more activities and just keep it clean. The old pickup can handle anything particularly dirty or rough, or requiring a longbox while I'm renovating, so this one just needs to be boring, reliable and eligible for warranty.

I guess I fall into the stock-ish crowd. Tinted the windows, put in a bed liner, the TRD Dual Exhaust, TRD rear red Sway bar, shorter antenna, LED Fog lamps, and some steps. Oh yeah, I also wrapped all the grabs with 550 cord. Other than that Stock as the day I bought it...

Oh yeah, and I added one of those oil plug drain valve replacements. Oh and a metal oil filter replacement for the plastic one. I think that qualifies as Stock-ish...

I absolutely love the looks of some of the members lifted Tundra's here. That being said, my last truck a GMC sierra i bought slightly used with a big lift, big tires, was the worst riding truck I've ever owned. I know its not fair to compare different brands and different lifts, but it also gives me pause when driving my TRD/SPORT that drives like a dream. still wondering what to do.:monocle:

Totally stock here. It’s been on some interesting dirt roads and she works great for what I want and need to do.

I don't consider adding accessories like caps, covers, steps, etc as modifications. They are "bolt on's" that don't require changing the design or critical components of the truck. Lift kits, frame alterations(body cab mount thing), etc are modifications that will lower the value & reliability of the vehicle. I'm not saying it's wrong, it's your truck so do as you please. Just my opinion. ;)
