Hello everyone. Well since last post I decided to stay out of the gas pedal. So I get 12.6 mpg

    So the throttle response is awesome. My yota will diff pull.

    I have another question.
    I had a turn signal light blow. So I replaced all the turn signals with LED turn signal lights. Now all turn signals will flash fast. How do I slow them down and return them back to a normal fast?

    I believe you need resistors on them due to the fact they take a lot less power to run than incandescent bulbs .

    @Headlight Revolution has a kit specifically for LED lights and such I believe, might require some extra wiring but can give you some cool results from their videos I've seen on Youtube and from others.

    On each side, one 3 ohm, 50W resister connected across hot and ground wires of each rear turn signal bulb. Mount resister to the steel bulkhead behind the tail light because it gets hot. Resisters available cheap on Amazon.

    So the 4157 ck and 3157ck anti hyper flash bulbs would work? No codes on the dash shows. There has to be a LED bulb that’s already built in.

    If your turn signals are flashing faster than before, it's because your LEDs are just plain old LEDs which will require additional resistance added to the circuit to flash at the proper rate.

    This is correct. I’ve installed them on all four corners as well as for headlights. Mount it onto the steel flanges away from anything that will melt. I used two small self tapping sheet metal screws each resistor. If you don’t want to do all that work the easiest way to fix this is to get that 2020 Tundra. Problem solved!

    Why would you need resisters for the headlights? And on a pre-2018 truck, you only NEED to add one 3ohm/50W resister per side...unless you're using vleds with proprietary vled resisters. If you're using a resister at each bulb, you'll need 6ohm/50W resisters.

    Vleds were recommended to me, but when I researched them, I found the Vleds "system" expensive and complicated.

    There were additional components (a proprietary resister for each bulb) and heavy proprietary cable harnesses and special screw-together junctions which are bulky. The Vled cable harnesses are additional to the existing Tundra harness which you must have anyway, and if you're converting to 2018+ Pro headlights, then you need the @iHacker harness as an adapter. Space behind the Tundra headlights didn't appear generous enough to stow all that stuff regardless how good the leds were. Obviously, Vleds will fit because some owners have them, but just stuffing all those "special" resisters and cables back in there is not my style. My electrical has to be routed and secured with tie straps, and the Vled resisters, cables, and special junctions weren't going to help with that.

    To convert early Gen3 Tundra to 2018+ Pro style headlights, I decided the best course was OEM Tundra wiring harness, direct to @iHacker adapter harness, direct to 2018+ headlamp housing, with generic LED turn signal bulbs front and rear and 3ohm/50W resister behind each tail light. That formula worked for me with no installation problems, and continues to provide ultra bright front and rear turn signals.
