Center chrome piece ?

    You can paint it, wrap it, even replace it.. It is plastic welded on... like rivets.. to remove it you need to drill out the plastic welds.. goto the ajt website.. find the replacement part and watch the installation video.. shows you how to remove the piece

    Thanks ! I figured it had to be drilled out by looking at it but wanted to make sure. Wanted to wrap it maybe but have never done it. I have it all apart to put those cup holder lights in so figured I would do something with it sense it’s all apart but might have to wait for another day because it’s going to rain soon

    I've done this one with plastidip. Turned out great and was super easy ..I'll see if I can dig up the thread.

    Post 146 & 148 are where I show how I did mine. No drilling required. The welds pop off with a pocket knife or chisel.

    180G sandpaper and these supplies (3 coats each) for me to get the area looking like this.. Even did the shift knob!
