Let’s just say it didn’t go as planned.....guess at the end he still had fun. Hope everyone is staying safe out there!!

I wanted to lol. They didn’t have cell service. Luckily he has a winch in the rear and was able to get himself out.

It's been real quiet over here, I hope everyone is doing well. During this quarantine I've done a few mods and will post some pics below for your viewing pleasure.

I wasn't able to find mount like the Powertrays one I had in my tacoma for a Switch-Pros, fuse box and bus bars. So I ordered a compressor mount from @ragofabrication and mounted everything, drilling my own holes. I was also able to install my @mattgecko under the hood lights I removed from the taco too. Since everything is setup very similar to the taco all the wiring was perfect length. Also, I plastidipped the chrome grill surround and added mesh behind the grill to keep the bugs from clogging my radiator.

How much of a pain is to remove that if you want to get to the fuse block? Another question I have that I’m totally confused about what’s the fuse block for? I see some ppl contenting them with the switch pros but I’m totally clueless why?

Because if you hook everything up through a SP or other switch, you only run one straight line through your firewall to the controller, and don’t have to splice into anything. Very clean install from the start.

The fuse block is a cleaner way to add multiple accessories without having a bunch of inline fuses going straight to the battery posts. Currently the only thing I have hooked up to it is the engine bay LED’s, but more accessories to come. It’s 5 bolts to remove the bracket but all the wiring would be a pain to remove if I need to get to the fuse box underneath.

I understand the switch pro but I’ve seen this fuse box ppl are installing with it. The switch pro has everything built in and doesn’t require anything else. So I’m just curious what this thing I circled in blue is for

Oh, gotcha. I looked at those when I was ordering what I needed for my SP. I had a Blue Sea fuse box in my cart until Porschetech told me I didn’t need it. I must have seen others has one and included it because if didn’t understand what I was doing.

I’ll watch to learn how others answer.

Yeah you definitely don’t need it for the Switch-Pros. I had the fuse box on my taco because I had more accessories plugged into it like my sub amp and stuff that don’t require switches.

Soooo... Bre did a thing! :D

Her Taco is gone, traded it for a T4R and instantly went ham on ordering parts haha.
Got the 4runner Wednesday, sliders Thursday, Lift Friday, and installed it all Saturday along with the wheels and tires off her Taco that we kept and put an old wheel/tire set on the Taco for trade in.

Here she is! 2020 TRD Off Road Premium.

Well bad new @Sunnier @sdde4n @nishibot @Mrs. Nishibot, codi and I had to make the tough call to cancel/postpone our trip. With everything going on in the world and so many places closed for an unknown amount of time, we would not be able to go to the places we wanted to visit. Also we want to limit Crockett's exposure to groups of the general public. Once we reschedule, we will let you all know.

    LOL.

Hahaha. Oh man, the color... we’re looking over vinyl wrap swatches because she misses quicksand so much. This was a real topic we considered and even found two used quicksand 4runners just for the color. They’re shockingly hard to find since they were only made for 16’ and 17 as Pro only colors.

Best to stay safe and protect you and your family. When this is done with and you’ve rescheduled it’ll make for a even more enjoyable trip!

No worries I think we all were expecting this due to this pandemic. I know @Mrs. Nishibot was really looking forward to seeing your family, but it's more important to keep them safe.

    Haha
Its to boost the charging voltage.
If you have an aftermarket AGM battery like the Northstar, they require a slightly higher voltage.
