I tried to order the TRD Front Sway Bar for my 2018 Tundra SR5 from a local Toyota dealer. They ran the VIN# and told me that the part does not fit my truck, so they would not order the part. They’re usually really helpful, so I was a bit shocked. I’ve got the 4.6L (hush the 5.7 comments; dollars were an issue at the time of purchase after rolling over 3 subsequent leases) with the rear TRD bar, which fit flawlessly, so why would the front bar be an issue? Is this bar not plug and play for the Tundra? What is this newbie missing?

It should fit just fine. The different engines didn't change any suspension bits.

Appreciate you all. I didn’t think engine size would matter, which is why it surprised me when they refused to order it.....only in Maine ughh..... will be ordered shortly @Roman Thanks again.

So finally getting back to this, received the bar, thank you very much @Roman ... however both stop rings are busted off, not your fault, Toyota needs to take better care and pride in their TRD parts with original shipping and could learn from your packing job! Suggestions on repair here, is this a simple re-weld and repaint?
