not sure if this translates over too well, in Romanian we sometimes refer to the toilet as the Buddha. not sure why, its just a says, i'm sitting on the buddha, i'm praying to the buddha, meaning you're taking a mondo duke.

the other day i was at the gym pool with my buddy doing laps and during a pause we were BSing and somehow the topic of bowel movements came up. i have great BM, about 3 in the morning and maybe another one or two in the evening. life is great.
To which he says, you were praying to the buddha, i said nope. the buddha was praying i stop!

hope that made some sense. it was funny. laugh dammnit!

This I didn't know. I will try some whiskey tonight with some filtered water and no ice:

Ice dulls the flavor of whiskey. It reduces the temperature of the whiskey too much, inhibiting the flavor and freezing its aroma. If you must, adding one cube is moderately acceptable.

Taking it "neat" (plain) doesn't work well either. Adding just a drop-small splash of water is best. The water prevents the strong alcohol content from numbing your senses.

On the type of water, soft still spring water will enhance the aroma and flavor of a whiskey. Some tap water contains high levels chlorine that would spoil the flavor, so be wary.

my kids are having the childhood that I always dreamed of.

On cooking, i've got two pork bellies, with skin curing in the fridge, one week salt/garlic/paprika cure, then I will boil them in wine until the skin is soft. then hang to dry, then in the smoker! damn that is something to die for.
Today we are heading down south to buy some more meat for Sunday, we'll have some people over and i'm going to be grilling it up.
Wish you could be closer to join us!

If you go without sleep long enough, you can begin to have visual hallucinations. I'm sure that there are other hazards as well.

Fabrication fact. The diameter of your pilot drill bit should be the same thickness as the web of your final drill bit. This takes the pressure off the point of your bigger drill bit, and also keeps your bit from "walking".
