Hello, how are you, and that's a fine how do you do?

A sort of rattling/clacking noise started on my Tundra the other day, that sounded like a bearing loose bearing of some sort. Well, yesterday, the belt snapped on the way home! And, as far as I can tell, the only pulley that isn't moving is the smooth one that operates the fan clutch? I'm basically wondering what direction to go from here. It looks like I need to replace the fan belt bracket. Any other suggestions of things to check/replace while I'm down there? Any and all help is much appreciated.

Has the timing belt been replaced within the last 90k? You'll pretty much have to take everything thats covering the timing belt off to get to that fan bracket. I would recommend doing all that if youre close to that mileage on your timing belt

Thanks, for the quick reply. That's exactly what I was thinking. I bought the truck last year and the timing belt has been heavy on my heart. Is there anyway to tell if the T belt has been replaced? It had 214,XXX on it when I got it, so I suspect its been done once, but I'm not sure......

It should have a sticker somewhere in the engine compartment showing when the timing belt was done. if youre gonna do all that work might as well do the timing belt at the same time to be safe
