Subs and box

Thinking about installing 2 10s, box and 5 channel amp.

Gonna have it professionally done.

Reasonable cost?

 

New speakers? New HU? The stock speakers look like they were built in 1972.

 

It all depends on what you go with....you'll need to use a shallow mount sub.
i have the JL steathbox ($1350 retail) which is 2 10" TW3's and they hit hard and low...i have a JL RD1000/1 powering it...

the 10TW3 are $329 retail, the RD amp is $549 and most will charge $200-300 for a box....

 

What base stereo do you currently have?

 

I have the head unit that came with the truck.

No JBL upgrade, I have a 2017 TRD Pro.

The want to charge me 1000 installed.

 

Hmmm. What gear are they using? That should be about the cost of quality parts...

 

I think due the current situation things are on Sale.

It's a reputable place, I thought 1000 was reasonable

Those are ok, depending which line...

 

To get opinions on value, you’ll want a detailed parts list. Did the shop mention a LOC? Too much bait and switch out there to not get a written estimate in my opinion.
