rear axle black and green wire?

    sensor and trailer brake malfunction error on dash, started looking around and noticed on the rear axle a black and green wire has been split in two, seems to be going to the rear passenger break, can onyone tell me what this is?

    When one see's broken wire of same color splice it back together. Picture would be nice but sounds like the problem.

    Picture... yea there’s not enough wire to splice back. Was mainly wondering if this has happened and could be the cause for all the dash warnings

    Yes, this can cause a whole bunch of lights to come on as it disables lots of systems to not have an ABS sensor on one wheel.

    definitely will cause the warnings. That’s a critical wire there. Personally I would disconnect the battery and get a short piece of wire and solder it all together. Get some heat shrink tubing and slide it over the wire first. Should be an easy fix.
