    This is in the bed of my truck, not sure what it is for. I just got the truck about a month ago and figured someone on here would know. It looks like a trailer light hookup but didn’t know why it would be wired up here in the bed. Any help is appreciated, thank you.

    Probably a shell 3rd brake light and dome light.

    What he said. I have the same thing in my truck but it's coming out of that hole.

    Didn’t think of that, thank you for the information. It makes sense, the front of the bed has a foam on the edge by the back glass.

    I thought it was a mod that the owner before me did for something like that. Maybe it's a factory thing? I doubt it tho. Others here would know way more than me.

    Probably is, and was used as a quick disconnect for removing/ installing the shell.
