Thoughts on upgrading suspension? I have a 4'' front 2'' rear readylift on it currently with the stock SR5 Bilstein shocks. I don't want to lose height but would like to upgrade the suspension performance. Tossing around Fox, Icon, etc. Looking for feedback or insight.

I just had the Icon stage 2 lift installed and I love it. Out of the box, they lifted the truck 4", but i turned them back down to 3". If you wanted (and i dont recommend it), you could crank those coilovers to 5". With whatever coilover you get, be sure to also get UCA's. I got the Icon tubular delta joint UCA's.

Many people report that the Icon's are a stiff ride, but I have to disagree. Before the icons. I had the 5100's on the middle setting and those were really stiff at all speeds. The icons are a little stiff at slow speeds (under 20mph), but certainly no stiffer than the 5100's (and certainly no stiffer than your readylift kit). Once you hit about 50mph, the ride is absolutely smooth; it is firm but compliant. It really is amazing. On the freeway, the 5100's were jarring, but the difference with the Icon's is night and day. Cruising on the freeway with the Icon's is so comfortable... it is a whole new experience.

Much appreciated guys. Just closed on a house and my fiance is always like.. "Are you on the forum again?" I'm just "researching babe" haha:spending:. Upon researching several reviews, etc, I think I am going to go with the Fox 2.5 with the remote res, this spring. I already have upgraded control arms, so I'm hoping all I'll need is an alignment. Exhaust is next.. that's another topic I'm "over researching" on it's own... "Dirty deeds bro, dirty deeds,"

Purchase something that is adjustable as you’ll need that. The higher you go, usually the stiffer the ride. Spring tensions is that factor and limiting that shock ride. there’s several threads on this topic as well as tires and wheels, UCAs, Struts, CMC etc.. enjoy the reading, felt like I did that for hours to make a decision on budget and lift parts.
    good luck
