    Aftermarket stereo replacement.

    Hello.

I have been trying to replace my stereo in my 2005 Toyota Tundra SR5 NON JBL system. I have door tweeters and a preamp from what I understand.
I have tried a few different harnesses from metro and pac and have had no success in replacing the stereo.
    How do I do this?

I can provide more info when asked.

I had no problem swapping my OEM HU in my old 2005 for single DIN Pioneer.
    Ran it for 8 years.
My 2005 SR5 had no preamp and no tweeters, I actually used the stock door speakers.
Used a standard Toyota wiring harness..
Hooked up an XM tuner, 3 old school Fosgate amps to stock speakers and a custom sub box with a 10' Fosgate Punch sub.
It was all plug and play and I put the OEM stuff back in when I traded it in.
