What's your main use for the bumper? Looks, function, protection? If you looking for protection and function to winch and use to pull on if using a snatch block for example I would get steel I personally been saving for the c4 fab they have been very fast in responding to questions before that bumper was released the victory steel looks great as well I just tend to not like the idea of aluminum except for the weight of it

I am interested in recommendations as well. 2020 1794 on order and I don’t want the TSS messed with. Need something with significant hoops since areas I go are prone to pigs and whitetail being in the road.

Thanks for the feedback! Looks and function. I won't be crawling this truck since it is my daily driver but plan on doing light wheeling through various CO mountain passes. Webster pass etc.. (prolly won't be For that reason, i am leaning towards aluminum but the price is.. double!

My only concern about steel is having to compensate for the weight up front. I have the 6112's at 1.9" at the moment and would like to keep it that way.

From the post above the steel option is only 145 lbs. I doubt that will even register with 6112s, especially since you are only talking about the weight difference between the stock and aftermarket bumper. I had a 200 lb from bumper on my second generation Tundra with the stock suspension. Did fine.

I recently installed C4 hybrid bumper without the bull bar on bro's truck. It weighed in at 105 lbs. The stock bumper assembly weighed in at 60 lbs. The net gain is only 45 lbs for the bumper replacement only. But his winch weighed in at 55 lbs. I didn't weight his 1X S8, 2X XL80, 2X Squadron Pro, and 2X S2. I estimate these lights to be total of about 25lbs max. So his total net gain is 125lbs max.

For reference, my ADD stealth fighter bumper weight it at 83 lbs, same winch is at 55 lbs, and 40" OnX6 arc is at 13 lbs. My actual net gain is about 91 lbs and could not tell measurable height difference after the install.

Don’t the 6112’s have one more setting above 1.9”? If you notice any sag with that setting, you could always have a shop pull em off and set em one higher. Granted, then you’d likely want an alignment too.

On the subject matter, idk that you could go wrong with any of those choices. They all look good, and provide better protection than stock. Seems to me like you need to get above 150 lbs before a bumper brings down the front end any, but maybe that’s just me.

This is all great feedback. Deters my concerns away from steel, which could save some serious $$

They do have a higher setting at 2.5" which would be the last option. Would probably end up getting new UCA's as I have heard some people having a hard time getting the proper numbers with stock UCA's at that height.

Like the final options. No Stealth Fighter?

That C4 Fabrication bumper is awesome! A friend has one and it looks great on his cement gray Tundra. As far as the TSS sensor issue, he just purchased a drop bracket for it and relocated it a few inches lower.

Yeah, I got 2.4 and 2.6* of castor on stock arms with 3” of lift. Not terrible, but also not entirely desirable either. But it’ll be interesting to see if ya have any sag.

What bumper did you decide to go with? I am trying to decide between the victory and the hefty fab works.

I never pulled the trigger. For me, C4 is at the top of the list. All are great options , I just like the aesthetics of the C4 the most! I reached out to Hefty and didn’t have a great “experience” but that shouldn’t take away from their product.
