Been tossing the idea of signing up for SiriusXM after going to remote places to hunt or fish. Signed up today for a 90 day free trial.

When there is no cell service or any radio reception what do you guys use aside from whatever songs you have saved on your phone?

Pandora premium. It allows you to download channels to listen to while offline. My kids use spotify. We go camping in southern utah where it is extremely remote. Hope this helps.

Edit - also I have xm radio, but am not that fond of it. It was free with the truck when I got it.

I’ve been using sat radio for years. I like having the same stations everywhere I go. Cell service isn’t that great here. But you could also download songs to your phone to play too.

I like xm for the reasons you asked about. It's nice going into the desert and having tunes or whatever like you never left the city. The only issue I've had with it is going through tunnels or a deep canyons with lots of trees to block line of site to the sky. Besides that it's great. My wife and I like the classical station and Wilkow mostly.
