What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

Debadged the “SR5” decal from the truck. Decided to keep the “5.8L” and “Tundra” decals, although am exploring the Toyota blackout kit. Looks much cleaner in my opinion.

 

Is your truck flex fuel? You'll love the Magnuson. I've had mine for about 3 weeks now.

 

What color is your truck? I love the red because I believe it gos best with the cement.

Took my RCI steps off so I can mitigate the rust. This is through 2 very mild east coast winters (no snow 2019/2020). I’m pretty religious about spraying the truck down as soon as possible after driving on salted roads. Pretty bummed the powder coat didn’t hold up longer

 

I have to think that this is one of the reasons that the less expensive stuff is less expensive in general?

If you look at the custom metal accessories they are much more....everything compared to the mass market accessories in my research.

 

Finally got around to changing my front and rear diff fluids. Truck currently has 51k miles and I bought it used with 26k, and it was dealer maintained the first 35k miles. It was obvious the fluid has never been changed, the rear was real dark but front looked clean. I also greased the driveshaft and it was clear that had never been done either, or its been a while at least. Got to love the jacked up dealer service prices and they don't even follow the service intervals in the manual. I sleep much better knowing the truck is actually being maintained. Now I just need to get the smell of gear oil out of my garage, man that stuff stinks.
