What brand are these steps?

First off, I can’t stand 99% of side steps/Nerf bars, they ruin the look IMO, but a 5’ wife and two toddlers has me in the market for the least grandpa-ish steps available.

So! Most tube steps stick out too far or hang too low and leave a massive gap...until I saw these googling pictures. These are the most “tucked” style I’ve seen and I’m not spending $500 on Nfab, $750+ on sliders or AMP’s.

What brand are these?!

 

Not sure of the brand, but Tyger makes a nice step that tucks up pretty close and they arent that expensive

Get some Toyota OEM used junkyard specials. They look pretty good on the DC if you get the non-tube versions. I scored some sexy AC OEM’s that have some really nice curves to fit the body for $125 plus $50 shipping. Too bad the DC don’t offer this exact version, though they do have the bulkier platform style ones which look nicer than the tube styles IMO. You could do a nationwide online search for either.

The Derek Center People really really enjoy having a step up.

 

The ones in that original picture still hang too low for me. I think it just looks higher because the truck has a big lift.

Will give a try looking locally for those. Trk I have came with the 3" chrome tubing. It's step pads are level to the bottom of frame, and that's too low for me.

 

Do a Nationwide search. Most ship for free except big bulky items.

These were off a driver front offset collision 2003. Called and made sure all the brackets were part of the deal because those brackets are about $45 each (x3 per side). Sure enough they were included. I did have to make a few retrofits to make it happen during install, but was easy stuff for a hand model.

I remember wanting these when I bought the truck new, but the stealer wanted $900!
