Just got off the phone with The Man!! Over 40 orders now. He's confident it will go over 50, so he's now pricing it as such!! $799 delivered for 8 inch stainless!!

Yah but my sliders get in the way. I maybe screwed didn’t want to spend that much on a 8 inch system on one had. On the other the dump I think is just as loud and the budget I’m missing some key parts

 

Either way, you're not out anything if you call him up. If you give him your situation and your goals, Keith will be able to lay out your options. At the very least, give him a call.

 

O we have chatted in just kinda of lost do you need some part of your og exhaust system or does his system replace all?

 

You need the stock tailpipe if you are doing one of the standard systems. Though, he might be able to do a standard system with a dump. I'm not sure.

 

Here is a pic of the stock piece that comes out, and the new piece that goes in on a standard system. This is the only stuff that changes. The Cats to the engine and from the mufflers to the tip(s) stays stock.

Yeah, you would need to get a stock pipe, or have the system dumped. Maybe check the market on here. Might be a tailpipe left over from an upgrade somebody did.

No. A "budget" dumped system is straight pipes. If you got a standard system it has mufflers.

I still don't think so. The pic below is an 8" system with a dump, but it has a resonator built into it. It's not going to be as obnoxious as what you have now, and you could do a 10 or 12 inch system to get it quieter. Granted, the one in the pic is a bit more custom, so it might cost more. @dirtydeeds Can you confirm?

 

For sure I’m just not sure I can find a system in time or want to get another system to take apart I thought he would sell a complete system but I’m learning as I go lol

Thought I don't know if a stock pipe will clear a 35" spare.

 

I have a buddy who had a trd dual system I may just try to buy it off him and slap it on and wait for the kids to grow up before I put some serious pipes on

 

You lose torque going dual, unless you have long headers (or so I've read). For the cost of a TRD system Keith will do better for you. At least IMO. But I'm biased. I have a 10" and I love it.

The previous owner kinda jacked up the exhaust on my truck by putting in a Y-pipe to make it a straight pipe and welding it to the rear section that is required to be reused for this exhaust system. Check craigslist or local classifieds and you can probably score a stock system for cheap. I found an almost new OEM tailpipe and muffler section for $50. They seem to pop up quite frequently and most people are desperate to sell them for something because the “wife says it’s taking up too much space.”

 

Honestly, if you like the dirty deed system, pounce on the sale. It won't be any worse than what you have now, and you can snag a stock tail pipe from the local classifieds or pick-n-pull at a later time.

 

The more tail pipe you have connected to the BAMuffler cat-back, the better the results.
